I graduated high school in 2010 from Neodesha, KS. I was super involved in lots of activities in high school, holding many leadership positions. Sports were my life (mainly basketball!). I graduated with a 4.0 and was Valedictorian of my class. I always had a lot of direction in high school and knew exactly what I was working towards.
Once I graduated high school, I went to Pittsburg State University (GO-Rillas!). I had NO idea what the heck I wanted to do with my life. This resulted in 3 years being spent at college with a different major every semester (LOL!) I got so frustrated with trying to figure out “what I wanted to be” that I dropped out. Yep, you heard that right! I never ended up finishing college.

Shortly after that, I just needed a change in my life. I moved to Kansas City, MO and lived downtown in a loft! I lived there for a year and loved every bit of it. I loved the fast pace, city life. Anything I wanted to do or experience was at my fingertips. It was so much fun! However, after a year, I knew it just wasn’t “home.” I was pretty stressed (HA, surely not!) about what my next move was going to be. My lease was coming to an end quickly and I still had no plans.

Where I lived! The views were amaaaazzziiing!
My dad had recently bought a nice home in Bartlesville, OK. He offered that I could stay there until I figured out my next move. Kicking and screaming, I decided it was my ONLY option. At the time, I was like “WHAT THE HECK am I going to do in Bartlesville, OK?” Little did I know, God knew exactly why I needed to move to Oklahoma. He had a plan! (DUH!)
Once I moved there, I had so much down time that I decided to check into real estate courses. I’d always loved real estate so I thought I would check them out. After all, what could it hurt? To make a long story short, I ended up getting my license. I started working for Keller Williams shortly after in Tulsa.

In my Keller Williams, red jacket!
In my opinion, Keller Williams is the BEST real estate company to train you early on. They’ve taken me under their wing and helped me the whole way. I’m so grateful for them and everyone that has befriended me a long the way. I’ve made so many friendships! I’ve never felt such peace in my life as I do now. I know this is exactly where God wanted to take me, and I’m so glad I trusted Him along the way.

If you’ve ever thought about getting into real estate, I’d love to answer any questions you have! It’s kind of scary to even get started (I know, been there!) Don’t be afraid to step out and do something that might be different than the “normal path”. It was the best decision I could have ever made!
XOXO
